Houllier, 63, who signed a three-year contract, he added that he was fit and healthy after cardiac problems in 2001.

The failure to beat Liverpool at home was a smaller spot held by O'Neill, but his successor believes he left the Club in good shape.
"Martin is a great Manager, he brought up a good cast and this is one of the reasons that we have a good basis for work," continued Houllier.
"It is difficult to succeed him, but it is always difficult to succeed someone is difficult, but it is exciting.
