Tottenham Striker Peter Crouch has heaped praise on Jermain Defoe captain of the team, in front of ID of England Euro 2012 with Switzerland.

Defoe bagged journalistic hat-trick on Friday as the three lions thrashed Bulgaria 4-0 at Wembley Stadium, and he is expected to lead line again in Basel.

Crouch, who was forced to pull out of England squad with a back injury, says it was a pleasure for Defoe and built up his ability club mate.

He told his Spurs official website: "it is fantastic for Jermain and he is really good to him I was very pleased. goals for it.

"I think the movement for its goals is fantastic, it shall detain the defenders away and makes space for themselves, it looked really sharp.

"I am playing with it a lot and he will get goals when he plays he is so sharply around it and with that kind of traffic are England, players will find him and create chances.

"As the strikers, we all benefit from this."

Wayne Rooney is set at the front of the partner Defoe St. Jakob Park, while Gary Cahill and Phil Jagielka is expected to line up in central defence.
