Brian Flynn expected position of Wales coach to be clarified on Monday, where the decision may be taken to keep heir of John Toshack.

Toshack stepped on Thursday after the beginning of Wales losing qualifications for Euro 2012 and on demand substitution.

Current U21 coach Flynn is understood to have been placed in temporary free senior party next month qualifications against Bulgaria and Switzerland.

Flynn did not give a direct answer when asked on Friday evening, whether he would like the project, but a hint, it may be more forthcoming after the weekend.

"Decisions are made and the account and we'll see on Monday when clarify the situation," said Flynn.

Flynn, who won 66 Wales caps as a player, takes in the playoffs last 21s qualification for the European Football Championship, when they were beaten agonisingly over two feet from England in 2008.
