A £ 4.8 m signing of West Ham, in July 2008, Zamora made appearances in 94, scoring 26 times.

However, it has surfaced last season as he scored 19 goals to help Fulham reach the final of Benfica and finish 12 in Premier League.

Zamora, who only took one year remaining on your existing business, had been strongly associated with a movement away during the Summer, with Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson a known admirer has brought the player for Fulham during their time in London.

And he began the current year in good shape, marking the 2-2 Premier League draw at Blackpool before succumbing to injury.

However, he could have an additional opportunity to impress internationally with Jermain Defoe-so awesome in scoring a hat-trick against Bulgaria-facing three months with ankle ligaments.

Although he was short of fitness as Fulham lost their first European final of 2-1 Atletico de Madrid, Zamora was instrumental in his route to Hamburg, notably scoring against Juventus, who fought back from 3-1 down in the household to win 5-4.
